We have one more excellent innovation by Pranav Mistry i.e. invisible mouse. Earlier we used to have wireless mouse which was connected via Bluetooth but its past because now we don’t need a hardware part of mouse, not even Bluetooth to connect this. Now your table will be your mouse pad and hands will act like a mouse and the vibration in table will be signal for mouse movement. Here is video to show a demo of all these facts have look.
It’s a pretty simple concept, but it seems to work perfectly in the demo. Total cost of the prototype: $20. Seems like the kind of device that could be mass-manufactured and built-in in every computer for peanuts.
Now some intro about the innovator behind this : Pranav Mistry
He is a research assistant at MIT Media Lab, originally from Gujrat, India. He says – Indian culture and education in behind his innovation, he wants to make disappear the difference between digital and physical world.
His first innovation SixthSense, a wearable surface technology (Now Microsoft is developing it for mass production) was great and very useful. He gave a presentation at TED talk last year (NOV2009), he said to provide this software as open source to all so everyone can develop their sixthsense by the next month . But nothing came out till now and I lost the hope for it. I heard Microsoft is working on it
