issues which needs to be resolved

This pack supports a lot of new features of HTML5 and CSS3 but there are some issues which needs to be resolved. Here are they for your reference so you can avoid some wonders.

1. When using the HTML5 Starter Layouts, be sure to set the doctype to HTML5. The proper doc type is already in the page, but a different setting for the doctype will overwrite it.
2. CSS3 Box-shadow is not supported on Windows.
3. Design View does not support Media Queries or CSS3 properties.
4. Add Media Queries cannot be added while in Live View with dynamic pages.
5. Site Root relative paths are not yet supported.
6. Cannot add Media Queries to Templates and Template instances.
7. HTML5 tags do not show up in the New CSS Rule dialog.
8. CSS3 properties do not appear in the CSS Panel.
9. @font-face is not supported.
10. Refreshing the Multiscreen Preview will refresh the current page in Dreamweaver, not the file shown in the File field.

I copied above issues form Adobe labs page. I didn’t change any bit so it don’t change ant technical meaning.

Its good to know about the features and capabilities of a product but knowing issues and limitations help you much while working with the product. It eases your mind sometimes.

Adobe is giving a downloader while downloading any trial version of the product. They are starting downloading on this downloader only. Its not good enough to download fast. Its restricting access and preventing creating threads for fast downloading.

Here is a trick to avoid this downloader and use any of the already in use download accelerator like Inter download manager, free download manager, downthemall addon for firefox browser. The trick is simple yet effective.

Copy full address from address bar and paste into notepad. This address has download link with specification of language, location, operating system etc. You need to remove all the extra specification and finally have an address ending with exe (if you are downloading for windows. )

Mozilla relesed the Beta version of Firefox 3.6.4. You can have a look of new features and some bug fixes. Mozilla firefox is very popular browser and its popularity is increasing day by day. I am currently using firefox 3.6.3 version which has some issues like some times it goes to not responding mode and it happens frequently. This release is in beta so no direct option is available for enabling multiblog option but after a small change you can have several blogs, let’s see the procedure step by step.

StepO: Deactivate all plugins before installation and later you can activate them whenever you want.

Step1:  Open wp-config.php file from file manager and add this line…

Add this line before the comment

Step2: Create a directory named blogs.dir under wp-content directory. This folder will conatin uploaded image, audio, video etc. After doing this refreash your Dashborad page and you will see a new option under tools.

Step3: Select Network option and follow the given procedure, such as adding some more code into wp-config.php and some code into .htaccess file (if not there create it.) After doing this refreash dashboard and you will see page for second blog options like name, title, email etc . One more important thing will be there as how you want to install your new blog like subdomain or subdirectory (we will discuss it later). Select appropriate option and you are done.

Step4: It will show some more finish-up options like enabling media upload, enabling plugin menus etc. You are done with new blog and a super admin interface.

Importent : Have backup of everything before doing this because some theme may not work and you can loose data for me swift theme didn’t work. (I went to wp-content-> theme directory and deleted swift directory, then it reset itself to default theme.)

Problem : While choosing between subdomain and subdirectory, be careful before selecting the option.

Description and solution : Choose subdomain when you have totally different topic about blog or different person are going to blog. This option needs a wildcard DNS record on your server. Be sure to fix it before using this option.

Choose subdirectory when you have quite similar topic for blogging and for simple management purpose you are enabling multiblog feature but with this be sure you are using pretty permalink feature otherwise your category/tag name can clash with subdirectory.

If html file and jquery file is in same folder then it will look like this..

You can use googleapis link inplace of direct file link . After adding jQuery file into html you have to write jQuery function for handlink event which will look like this.
